Breathinglab.app

breathing · timers

I’m building breathinglab.app, a small web app focused on one simple idea: breathing exercises should be instantly accessible.

No account. No onboarding. No subscription wall. No need to install another wellness app.

You open the site, choose a breathing technique such as box breathing, 4-7-8 breathing or coherent breathing, set the duration and press Start.

The timer guides you through the exercise using visual cues, sound and optional vibration, so you don’t necessarily need to keep looking at the screen.

The project is deliberately positioned as a toolbox rather than a meditation platform. Alongside predefined exercises, I’m also building a custom breathing timer where users can create their own inhale, hold and exhale patterns.

Visually, breathinglab.app follows the same direction I’ve been exploring with Runners Lab: bold typography, strong grids, brutalist influences and modern minimalism. It should feel more like a digital instrument than a traditional wellness app.

The first version will stay intentionally simple: no accounts, no database and no unnecessary features. Just useful breathing tools that work instantly in the browser.

Open. Breathe. Carry on.
