BiteBeat
BiteBeat is a simple eating-awareness app designed to help people understand when they eat - and why.
Instead of tracking calories, macros, or perfect meal plans, BiteBeat focuses on two basic signals: meals and urges. Users log when they eat, record moments when they feel like eating, and gradually uncover patterns between hunger, habit, boredom, stress, and routine.
The app shows the time between meals, daily eating rhythm, and recurring urges in a clear, low-friction way. Its purpose is not to judge food choices, but to make unconscious behaviour visible.
I created BiteBeat as an exploration of how a focused digital product can support healthier decisions without overwhelming the user. The experience is intentionally simple, direct, and playful, supported by a bold brutalist visual identity.
Less tracking. More awareness. Better control over your eating habits.
